چکیده
The Great Wall is a world-famous World Heritage Site facing serious environmental and structural fragmentation problems. This study considered the watershed an essential basis for delineating cultural zone boundary. relevant watersheds their scope in Beijing were determined, sub-watershed classification index system was constructed. type conservation areas classified using k-means clustering method. relationships among heritage, ecological, socioeconomic, hydrological elements analyzed to obtain characteristics of spatial differentiation types. had promoting effect on urbanization; urbanization pressurizing ecological environment, whereas heritage binding environment. protected defined at scale this have better connectivity integrity. Not only does it help monitor, prevent control various natural human-related issues hazards that occur scale, but also helps informing sustainable development Wall.

A hierarchical network-based algorithm for multi-scale watershed delineation
Watershed delineation is a process for defining a land area that contributes surface water flow to a single outlet point. It is a commonly used in water resources analysis to define the domain in which hydrologic process calculations are applied. There has been a growing effort over the past decade to improve surface elevation measurements in the U.S., which has had a significant impact on the ...

متن کامل3D Digitisation of Large-Scale Unstructured Great Wall Heritage Sites by a Small Unmanned Helicopter
The ancient Great Wall of China has long suffered from damage due to natural factors and human activities. A small low-cost unmanned helicopter system with a laser scanner and a digital camera is developed to efficiently visualize the status of the huge Great Wall area. The goal of the system is to achieve 3D digitisation of the large-scale Great Wall using a combination of fly-hover-scan and f...

In this research, Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (IFSAR) and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) data are used to delineate a portion of the Saint Louis Bay watershed (Mississippi). In addition to these two digital elevation databases, the National Elevation Data (NED) and the United States Geological Service’ Digital Elevation Model (USGS-DEM) are also used for delineation. Resul...
متن کاملInfluence of Environment and Mitochondrial Heritage on the Ecological Characteristics of Fish in a Hybrid Zone
BACKGROUND Ecological characteristics (growth, morphology, reproduction) arise from the interaction between environmental factors and genetics. Genetic analysis of individuals' life history traits might be used to improve our understanding of mechanisms that form and maintain a hybrid zone. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS A fish hybrid zone was used to characterize the process of natural selec...
